Gather Data

• A general description of the job to be undertaken

• Take pictures of the work area and issue

• Obtain specifications of machinery involved

• Take dimensions or plans of job area/issue

• Obtain any relevant documentation (Material Data Sheets)

• Collect the requestor's contact information (email & phone number)

• Find out the date the quotation is needed by

Enter into Maintain X

• Enter the gathered data into MaintainX to ensure all parties are being informed, ensuring that the location, priority and the client's contact information is entered.

Entering the requests in MaintainX

• Ensure folder number from glass (Client) is being entered into request title.

• Attach any relevant documentation (Images, plans, drawings, specifications)

• Ensure a general description of the job to be undertaken is being stated.

• Ensure the requestor's contact information is entered (phone number/email)

• Ensure all parties are being informed by entering same into MaintainX, ensuring that the location and priority is entered
