This preventive maintenance offers several benefits, primarily aimed at maximizing uptime, minimizing unexpected breakdowns, and ensuring optimal performance of the bagging equipment.
LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) Required before starting maintenance
Side A Maintenance
Grease zerks with multi-purpose synthetic grease
Check tension and condition of belts
Check pulley, set screws, and quality of components
Check tension and sprocket alignment
Drain water from air separator
Service air oiler with synthetic hydraulic oil iso 46
Check air filter for dirt and debris
Inspect machine for air leaks in valves, hoses, and cylinders
Check vacuum cups for cracks and wear
Check vacuum generators for dirt and obstructions
Inspect Prox switches face and condition
Clean behind the Buckets
Remove and clean top and bottom buckets from positions 3 and 7
Replace top bolts with precut all thread for scale heads 3 and 7
Slide out scale heads 3 and 7 and clean behind them
Reassemble units 3 and 7 without tilting the heads
Side B Maintenance
Grease zerks with multi-purpose synthetic grease
Check tension and condition of belts
Check pulley, set screws, and quality of components
Check tension and sprocket alignment

Service air oiler with synthetic hydraulic oil iso 46
Check air filter for dirt and debris

Inspect Prox switches face and condition
Clean behind the Buckets

Reassemble units 13 and 17 without tilting the heads
Check all doors, emergency stops, and interlocks for proper operation
Return all guards
Notify supervisor/lead that equipment needs sanitizing
