Exterior Cab Inspection
Check safe working perimeter of machine
Inspect cab door handles, lock, windows, mirrors for damage
Inspect access panels and counterweight for damage
Inspect general appearance of paint and signage
Engine
Change fuel filter and bleed system
Start engine and check for abnormal noise, warm oil before draining
Change engine oil and filter
Inspect Air filters
Inspect radiator fins are clear of debris
Inspect fan belt and adjust tension
Inspect hoses, guards, brackets, linkages, exhaust leaks
Inspect entire engine compartment for any leaks
Check Batteries Secure / Terminals for Corrosion
Hydraulic System
Replace hydraulic filter in main hydraulic tank and clean suction screen
Replace hydraulic pilot filter
Top up Hydraulic oil with Hitachi Spec Hydraulic oil only

Undercarriage and Track Gear
Change Final Drive Oils
Inspect Track Chains and Grousers / Pads / Rubber Tracks
Check and adjust Track tension
Inspect all Rollers / Idlers / Sprockets for wear / damage
Inspect Blade for cracks / damage
Grease Blade and Main Slew Ring Bearing
Change Slew Motor Gear Oil and Check Flange Bolts Tight
Inspect Track Frames and Belly Pans for Damage / Leaks
Cab Interior
Check inside Cab is Tidy
Test Hydraulic Safety Lockout Lever operation / Condition
Inspect Seat / Arm Rests / Head Rest / Slides Adjust
Check Seat Belt Operation / Inspect for Damage
Check Beacon, Work lights , Horn, Wiper, Dash Gauges
