Weekly Bumper Inspection

This is a weekly inspection checklist to account for all functional/ non-functional bumpers for all lanes. We need to check the bumper weekly to ensure it remains in safe working condition and prevent unexpected failures that could cause downtime. Regular inspections also help identify early signs of wear and tear, allowing timely maintenance before costly repairs are needed.

Weekly Bumper Inspection

This is a weekly inspection checklist to account for all functional/ non-functional bumpers for all lanes. We need to check the bumper weekly to ensure it remains in safe working condition and prevent unexpected failures that could cause downtime. Regular inspections also help identify early signs of wear and tear, allowing timely maintenance before costly repairs are needed.

From the Sync station highlight all lanes.

Run the command to raise all bumpers to the "UP" position.

Walk the lanes and check that all bumpers have move to the "UP" position. Flag this step if not all bumpers moved to the "UP" position.

Return to the Sync station and run the command to lower all bumpers to the "DOWN" position.

Walk the lanes and check that all bumpers have move to the "DOWN" position. Flag this step if not all bumpers moved to the "DOWN" position.

Create a work order request for any non-functioning set of bumper.

If time permits, investigate the cause(s) of malfunctions during inspections. Otherwise, the requests will be tasked & scheduled by the Facility Manager.
