Proper PTAC Cleaning Guidelines

These guidelines detail the proper cleaning procedures for a Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) unit to ensure optimal performance and indoor air quality.

    Turn off and unplug the PTAC unit before maintenance

    Air filter removed without dirt falling back into unit

    Air filter cleaned with vacuum or running water

    Damaged air filters replaced

    Vent screen cleaned or replaced
