• Never work under a Weight (Crush hazard)

• Avoid Pinch points( can cause severe injuries)

• PPE are required

• Inspect all the tools needed

• Once finished always inspect the area

Supervisor Signature

The signature of the person reassuring Health and Safety procedure steps were followed is Mandatory, (the supervisor can be from any production or maintenance or H&S)

Supervisor Validation

Maintenance Technician followed Health and Safety Steps or not?

Staple Gun Change Procedure

• Disconnect the air supply and the electrical connection from the gun

• Take out the 24mm nut with a Hex wrench

• Place the spare gun following the reverse points mentioned

• Clean the gun thoroughly ( don't forget to clean the nose on the coil nail gun and take out any debris )

• Open and Check for the warn out parts ( inspection )

• Change the damaged parts ( bumpers, piston, drive blade and driver cord on the staple gun, main valve ,screws, nuts )

• Change O-rings for better sealing (O-rings can run for 06 month at a rate of 08 hours a day excluding week-end and holidays)

• Use silicone lubricant on O-rings and sealings ( apply a convenient quantity avoid putting to much )

• Lubricate the gun with 03 drops of pneumatic oil from the main air connector

• Check for the electrical parts/the continuous reload on coil nail gun and staple gun ( 5/2 way valve and the two reload cylinders)
