Pump Unit

• Wipe dirt from the housing. Inspect for physical damage. Open a corrective work order if needed.

• Inspect the pump for unusual running noises or vibrations. Inspect and tighten loose fasteners, anchors, and bolts. Open a corrective work order if needed.

• Inspect the pump, valves, connections for leaks or drips. Open a corrective work order if needed.

Gear Unit

• Inspect for leaks. Check for escaping gear oil, traces of oil on the exterior or underneath the unit. Inspect radial shaft seals, cover caps, screw fittings, and housing joint.

• If leaks suspected, wipe down the unit and check the oil level. Open a corrective work order to check the oil level again in 24 hrs. If oil is dripping, keep the corrective work order open for leak repairs. If oil is not dripping and there is no evidence of a leak, close the corrective work order. Use only MOBIL 600 XP 200 oil.

• Inspect the gear box for unusual running noises or vibrations. This could indicate damage to the gear box. Inspect and tighten loose fasteners, anchors, and bolts. Open a corrective work order if needed.

Motor

• Wipe away dirt and dust from the motor housing and check for physical damage. Open a corrective work order if needed.

• Inspect the housing, connections, valves for leaks. Check for escaping lubricant, chemicals. Open a corrective work order if needed.

• Inspection for any unusual vibrations, misalignment, or noise. Inspect and tighten loose fasteners, anchors, and bolts. Open a corrective work order if needed.
