Competition Terminal Maintenance (CB)
This procedure ensures that the Competition Terminal (CB) undergoes a thorough inspection and maintenance evaluation covering electrical connections, terminal condition, contact integrity, and mechanical fastening, maintaining reliable electrical performance, preventing connection failures or signal degradation, and supporting the consistent and safe operation of all associated equipment and control systems.
Inspect all terminal sheaves (550's and 364's)
-Unweight each sheave. Check for alignment, bearing quality and liner wear. -Sheave liners should be replaced at depth of 9mm. -Ensure even load share on deflection sheaves -Note any sheaves replaced

Tire Beam Inspection
Secure connections, all welds ok.
Principal Rail Inspection
Secure connections, all welds ok, no cracks/flakes.
Compression Rail Inspection
Secure connections, all welds ok, condition of skins ok.
Lateral Rail Inspection
Secure connections, all welds ok.
Inspection of belts, pulleys, tires, contour cogs and pillow blocks
-Verify all hardware is secure. -All pillow block bearings are in good condition. -Contour cogs are in good condition and appropriately spaced
PTO Inspections (4)
-Inspection of all components. -Clean and lubricate idler shafts. -Alignment of belts.
LS Portal Assembly Inspection
Inspecting sheave liner wear, bearings, and alignment.
HS Portal Assembly Inspection
Inspecting sheave liner wear, bearings, and alignment.
