CMC 200 Breakdown And Inspection

Grinding Media

• Check sizes on grinding media to ensure proper size of 3.1mm

• Clean and weigh media. Check for excessive loss. Full charge is 1438lbs.

• Replace with new charge of media, if needed, top off to full charge if media is still good size.

Mechanical Seal

• Inspect the 3 flat head screws which hold the seal protector plate on the face of the mechanical seal. Replace if needed. Specs for screws are on the milling shaft diagram drawing in the manual.

• Inspect the condition of the seal protector plate. Replace if needed before 50% deterioration from visual inspection.

Milling Shaft Parts

• Inspect disks and spacers for wear.

• Every 1000 hrs., or every other breakdown, remove and rotate disks on shaft. Replace as needed.

Screen

• Inspect screen. Replace as needed.

Grinding Chamber Center Media Fill Port Assembly

• Remove and inspect assembly every 1000 hrs.

Gring Chamber Front Plate

• Inspect screen and media drain for wear.

Grinding Chamber Inlet Housing

• Remove Disks and spacers every 100 hours to inspect inlet housing.
