Fire Extinguisher Checks

Location:

• Confirm the fire extinguisher is visible, unobstructed, and in its designated location.

Equipment Check:

• Verify the locking pin is intact and tamper seal is unbroken.

• Verify no visible damage or leakage and that horn is clear of obstructions.

• Ensure the pressure gauge is in the green and take off hanger and ensure there is weight in it.

Inspection Tag:

• Ensure there is an inspection tag on the equipment. Visible and intact.

• Make sure you are within less then a year then the last annual inspection.

• Initial and date the tag.

• Fail
