Battery Watering Procedure

• The correct time to add water to a battery is after charging or equalizing the battery. This is when the battery’s water level is at its highest, and it will prevent a boilover. You will also get the opportunity to see the level so you can top it off. Before you water your battery, check two to three cells to confirm that there is enough fluid to cover the lead plates.
