Surface Inspections
This procedure covers external visual inspections of electrical equipment across all surface areas, including the dry, the Cooks Kitchen shaft bank, the banksman's hut and associated containers, workshop and stores containers, the block house, the rescue room, and the old engine shaft building. It also covers the surface HV areas (Cooks Kitchen HV sub, Centac HV sub, and the 11kV transformers), the Cooks Kitchen office and store areas, the water treatment plant, the Middle engine shaft building, the surface explosive compound and alarm system, and the surface standby generator.
External visual inspection of electrical equipment around cooks dry. To include the dry, cooks kitchen shaft bank, banksmans hut and associated containers, all other workshop and stores containers, the block house, the rescue room and old engine shaft building.
External visual inspection of electrical equipment in surface HV areas. To include cooks kitchen HV sub, Centac HV sub, the 11KV to 415V tx and the 11KV to 3.3KV tx.
External visual inspection of electrical equipment in cooks kitchen/ forth kegyn office and store areas.
External visual inspection of electrical equipment for the water treatment plant. To include a full walkaround of the plant itself, the MCC building, the office area and the transformer compound.
External visual inspection of Middle engine shaft building and electrical equipment.
External visual inspection and checks on surface explosive compound and alarm system.
External visual inspection of surface standby generator.
