Line 6 Top Ply Quarterly PM
The aim is to maintain the equipment’s condition and reliable performance through scheduled quarterly inspection and servicing. This preventive maintenance helps identify wear, damage, and potential faults early, enabling timely corrective action to minimize unexpected breakdowns, reduce production downtime, and extend equipment service life.
PM tasks should be preformed in order of priority from top to bottom.
This PM is to be performed once per quarter during Non-production hours.
1. Check pump and hoses for leaks

3. Inspect all rollers (Estimated Time: 20)
Rollers are in good shape - not damaged
Rollers are rolling per design - bearing issue
Inpspect Lovejoy coupling - not loose / spider joint good
Air motor and regulator - working as designed
Estimated Time: 10
5. Chain cover, chain and sprockets (Estimated Time: 15)
Chain cover secure and intact
Remove cover - clean and inspect chain and sprockets
Lube chain
Repalce cover
