• No storage in exit corridors

Stairwells (All Floors)

• Stairwells free of combustible storage

• Fire doors self-closing and latching

• No door wedges or unapproved hold-opens

• Handrails secured

Exit Signs & Emergency Lighting

• Exit signs illuminated and visible

• Emergency lighting functional (push-test)

• No missing covers

Fire Alarm System (Visual Inspection Only)

• Fire alarm panel shows normal status

• No trouble or supervisory signals

• Manual pull stations unobstructed

• Horns and strobes visible and intact

• Smoke/heat detectors unobstructed

Automatic Sprinkler System (Visual Inspection Only)

• Control valves open and supervised

• Sprinkler heads unobstructed (18-inch clearance)

• No painted, damaged, or missing heads

• Pressure gauges within normal range

Electrical & Mechanical Rooms

• 36-inch clearance at electrical panels

• No storage in electrical or mechanical rooms

• No extension cords used as permanent wiring

• Equipment free of overheating or damage

Housekeeping & Storage

• Combustible materials properly stored

• Flammable liquids labeled and approved cabinets used

• No storage above ceiling tiles

Roof & Exterior Areas

• Roof access doors secured

• No combustible storage on roof

• Fire lanes clearly marked and unobstructed

• Hydrants accessible
