Interior Inspection

Electrical Inspection

• All electrical boxes, outlets and switches covered properly?

• Are electrical panels properly covered and latched?

• Are electrical panels free of obstructions?

• Are extension cords used for temporary uses only?

• Do all electrical outlets have covers?

• Do any extension cords run through walls, ceilings or doors?

• Are there any frayed wires in the building?

• Exposed wires in the wood shop?

• Wood shop tools and machinery is unplugged after use and proper signage hung

Fire Protection

• Are there any combustibles stored in the boiler room? If so, move them to proper location. Check for combustibles in all areas

• Are there any open combustibles in the wood shop? Stored properly?

• Check in on sprinkler system. Any leaks? Damages? Items blocking the system?

• Check emergency lights and lighting

• Are portable fire extinguishers readily available? Mounted properly?

• Are there “EXIT” signs posted above exterior doors?

• Are flammable and combustible liquids properly tagged and stored?

HVAC

• Is the boiler room kept locked?

• Any combustible objects kept near heaters

• Are heating and cooling ducts free of obstructions?

• Are all vents throughout properly attached? Any signs of condensation?

Doors/Windows

• Are all door locking mechanisms working? Are all doors closing properly?

• Are all electrical and boiler room doors properly locked?
