Plates & Cloths

• Inspect all cloths during cake drop sequence. Use only plastic spatulas to remove cake from cloths. Inspect for wrinkles, tears. If changing cloths, all cloths must be changed -- not just one or just a few. Open a corrective work order if needed.

• Inspect and clean solids from all sealing surfaces. All parts need to be free of solids and cloth obstructions.

Hydraulics & Air

• Do not close the press. Ensure the ram is fully extended.

• Inspect the hydraulic oil level in the sight glass. Add hydraulic fluid so that the level is 3/4 to the top of the sight glass. Use only Gulf Harmony AW Hydraulic Fluid MG.

• Inspect the air filter regulator. Dump solids and water from the filter.

Rails & Head Plate

• Close the press. Ensure the ram is fully retracted.

• Inspect the rails and remove dirt and debris.

• Inspect the head plate and clean off excessive buildup of dirt/
