Quarterly Dock Plate PMs

You will need the following tools and Parts:

• Food safe spray lubricant.

• Food safe grease.

• Food safe grease gun.

• Hydraulic oil

• Lockout Tagout lock

Put the maintnace strut into place:

• 1. Push and hold the raise button on the control panel so leveler is fully raised.

• 2. Have a second person raise the strut to vertical position.

• 3. Release the maintenance strut, ensure it has dropped into the locked position.

• 4. Release the raise button.

Lockout Tagout the power for the unit:

• 1. Flip the power switch for the dock lever to the off position.

• 2. Lock out the switch to prevent the unit from being powered on.

Inspect all welds for damage:

All welds were free of damage?

• Yes
• No
• N / A

All hydraulic lines are undamaged and there is no evidence of leakage?

• Yes
• No
• N / A

All electrical components and wiring are undamaged?

• Yes
• No
• N / A

Lubricate the following areas with food safe oil:

• 1. Top main hydraulic cylinder pin.

• 2. Bottom main hydraulic cylinder pin.

• 3. Lip hydraulic cylinder pin.

• 4. Main safety lever pin.

• 5. Lip safety lever pin.

• 6. All 4 lubrication points for the rear hinge

The oil revivor is filled to the correct level?

• Yes
• No
• N / A

Complette the following steps to return the unit to service.

• 1. Remover the Lockout Tagout device.

• 2. Hold the raise the dock lever.

• 3. Have a second person lift the maintenance strut up to release from locked position.

• 4. have a second person push back to lower the maintenance strut.

• Release the raise button.
