A main benefit of preventive maintenance is extending the life of your equipment and its components. Routine check-ups help you avoid costly component change outs and can keep your exhaust fan from suffering an early burnout.

    CAUTION: MAKE SURE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED BEFORE SERVICING.

    NOTE: Exact location of components will vary according to the specific unit.

    Filters (A)

    Polyester Filters

    Option MERV Air Filters

    Fan (B)

    Condensate Drain (C) (HRV UNITS ONLY)

    Recovery Core (D)

    Unlatch the latch(es) and slide the door to right to release from hinges and clean as follows:

    When re-installing the core make sure the arrow on the core is pointing to the top of the unit.

      Grills & Duct Work

      Annual Servicing: Your ERV/HRV should undergo annual general servicing by an accredited contractor. This servicing should include the following:

      CAUTION: ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS SHOULD SERVICE CONTROLS OR INTERNAL COMPONENTS.
