Regular ironer maintenance will achieve significant improvements in flatwork productivity, standards of finishing and profitability.

All hazardous energy has been isolated using LOTO procedures?
All potential stored or residual energy has been relieved, disconnected, restrained, lowered, and/or otherwise rendered safe?
Lock Out Tag Out
Perform LOTO as necessary
Check compressed air system for leaks
Inspect thermal insulation of burner, combustion plant, and chimney for corrosion and integrity.
Check function of the temperature limiter.
Check function of the temperature controller.
Check for gas leaks. Use a leak detector inspect all pipe connections
Check all safety devices work properly.
Check Drive belts for wear and proper tension
Check pipe system for integrity and leaks. inspect thermal insulation for integrity.
Check infeed belts for integrity and proper tension.
Check the Float switch.
Remove LOTO and return to service.
