    Access the filter housing by pressing the red button

    Lower the housing face carefully. Do not allow to drop down

    Raise the top of the hood to gain access to the filter

    Remove the old filter element

    Install new filter element with thicker weather stripping side facing up

    Carefully lower top housing of hood

    Carefully close front face of filter housing, pressing red button down to allow engagement from top housing to the hole in the front face
