Inspection of Fasteners and Belts

Follow this bi-monthly procedure to check for proper tension of nuts, bolts, screws and belts.

    Follow all Safety Guidelines in the Manual when performing Maintenance.

    Parts & Supplies

    As needed: Towel/ Rag WD40 or equivalent Wrenches

    De-energize

    ⚠ Secure Power ⚠ Secure Air Supply

    Check Drive Chains

    1. Check drive chains for wear and tension, adjust as needed.

    Check Belts

    1. Inspect belts for wear and tension, adjust as needed.

    Check Fasteners

    1. Inspect nuts, bolts, and screws. 2. If necessary, replace or tighten -Note in comments the status of any missing or loose fasteners.

    Visual Inspection

    1. Perform a general visual inspection of machine. -Detail in comments of any corrosion, warps, or irregularities.

    Re-energize

    ☐ Restore Air Supply ☐ Restore Power ☐ Clean up worksite & report discrepancies or irregularities.

    Comments from the Maintenance Tech related to the maintenance procedure.
