Air Handler Preventive Maintenance Checklist

tools needed

• coil clean pre diluted spray bottle

• evap fresh

• multimeter (blower fan, capacitor, )

• impact and bits to remove covers, pan switch

• gloves, eye protection, mask if wanted

• clean water to rinse coil clean

• filter/s, blower to clear drain line

checklist

• turn off power with disconnect or switch

• remove side panel

• spray evap fresh on coil, thoroughly wet and clean as needed. no rise.

• change filter

• blow drain line down to clear any standing debris

• check capacitor for proper rating

• check belts/ pulleys as needed

• check that pan overflow cutout switch is operational.

• if equipped check condensate pump and clean out

• hand spin fan to check bearings and operation

• restart unit and verify operation.

if repairs needed fail pm and note issues in box below
