Food Safety Pre-Check

Prior to performing this maintenance task, the areas that may be impacted unintentionally by the maintenance activities were inspected to assure no Partner’s safety is at risk and no customer product or Cintas equipment would be compromised, contaminated, or otherwise damaged due to this specific task. Any product that may be impacted was moved and / or otherwise isolated to assure protection.

All potential stored or residual energy has been relieved, disconnected, restrained, lowered, and/or otherwise rendered safe?

Inspect the air openings and hood.

Clean the inlet air openings
Clean the exhaust air openings.
Wipe dirt from the hood.

‼️‼️DEPRESSURIZE LINES BEFORE CONTINUING‼️‼️

Inspect the safety valve is operating correctly. The valve bell should raise then lower completely. Wipe dirt from the safety valve.

If the valve bell does not lower completely, then open a corrective work order to replace the safety valve.

Remove the belt guard and inspect the belts for wear, cracks, and/or frays. Upload a photo of the belts.

Inspect the belts for wear, cracks, and/or frays.

No wear or damage to the belts. Belts not replaced.
Belts cracked and/or worn. Open a corrective work order to replace the belts. Follow Aerzen's instructions to replace belts WITH a motor lifting device.
Belts frayed. Open a corrective work order to replace the belts. Open a corrective work order to replace the belts. Follow Aerzen's instructions to replace belts WITH a motor lifting device. Also open another corrective work order to align or replace the sheaves.

Remove the sheave guard and inspect the sheaves for alignment and stability. If loose, then tighten.

Inspect sheaves for unusual wear and tear or obvious damage.
Inspect sheaves for alignment and stability. Tighten the sheaves if needed.
If sheaves are worn or damaged, then open a corrective work order to replace the sheaves.

Food Safety Post-Check

After performing this maintenance task, a review of all applicable areas that may have been impacted was conducted to assure there are no residual risks to Partner safety remaining. Also, a review of all applicable areas to ensure that no customer products were inadvertently compromised, contaminated, or otherwise damaged was conducted. If any conditions were observed indicating that any of the previous concerns have been negatively impacted, the issue was escalated to leadership.
