This procedure provides a daily preventive maintenance checklist for the Pearson Case Former, beginning with equipment isolation per Chewy’s Hazardous Energy Control Policy and covering air prep (drain filters, verify ~80 psi), cleanliness, sensor care, and inspection of vacuum cups/hoses, bulbs, regulators, and indicators. It also specifies taper head tasks—inspect and clean cutter blades, oil blade-guard pads, listen for abnormal noise/vibration, and verify all rollers (especially the split roller) move freely.
