This procedure outlines the steps for conducting an annual vehicle inspection in accordance with 49 CFR 396. It includes vehicle information collection, inspection of various vehicle components, and certification of inspection completion.

    Vehicle Information

    Enter the vehicle history record number

    Enter the fleet unit number

    Enter the motor carrier operator's name

    Enter the inspector's name (print or type)

    Enter the address, city, state, and zip code

    Does the inspector meet the qualification requirements in section 396.19?

    Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN)

    Enter the license plate number
