Fire Extinguisher Inspection

This procedure covers the visual inspection of the facility's fire extinguishers, checking that each one is visible, unobstructed and in its designated location. It also checks each extinguisher for physical damage, corrosion, leaks or a clogged nozzle, confirms the pressure gauge and weight are correct, and verifies the instructions, safety pin and tamper seal are intact.
