Gym Cleaning Checklist For Commercial Gyms

Gym equipment requires regular maintenance to keep it working properly. Use this checklist for regular safety checks and good record keeping help you protect your clients from injury when they’re using your equipment, and also protect you from liability in the event of an incident where someone is injured at your facility.

    Wash your hands before cleaning.

    Always wear PPE while cleaning.

    If using disinfectant wipes, the surface should be wiped in the same direction to prevent contamination.

    The disinfectant liquid must remain on the surface for a specific amount of time-based upon the product recommendations.

    When finished, dispose of any PPE, cleaning materials, and re-wash hands.
