Cold Tubs Daily Inspection

• Take Reading of Water Chemistry and record in log books for each tub

• Using temperature sensor, Test and record the water temperature. Should remain between 5.5 Celsius to 6 Celsius

• Check the tub controller to ensure the chiller is operating. An indication arrow will be lit up above the snowflake icon on the tub control if the chiller is running. If the temperature is warmer then the setpoint (42F) and the arrow is not lit up above the snow flake, perform a reset to the tub. Press the blue button on the cable and unplug for 30 seconds. Plug back in and press the green button to reset. Verify the arrow above the snowflake is lit up. Notify Cold Tubs Support if this is a reoccurring issue.

• Ensure water level is 3/4s between the skimmer inlet. If not, top up the tub with fresh water ensuring to attach the pre-filter onto the hose before filling.

• Conduct visual inspection to water clarity. If the water is murky, filtration may need assistance by adding 2 cap-fulls Cold Water Clear which brings used chloramines to the surface. After adding, water will need to be skimmed to clean. It will make the water look worst after initial dose, but will get better. Recommend adding at closing time.

• If excessive suds are present, add Cold Water Bubble Remover. You can use as needed which will help the filtration cycle no harm to add use while tubs are in use. Amount to dose depends on how much suds are present. Doesn’t affect other chemistry. Using too much can make the water cloudy, it will clear up.
