Also acceptable is an SAE multi-purpose lithium based grease. Blower Oil: Use Walinga Blower oil (part# 98-13813-6)Storing Lubricants:Your unit can operate at top efficiency only if clean lubricants are used. Use clean containers to handle all lubricants.Store them in an area protected from dust, moisture and other contaminants. 5.1.2 GREASING Refer to Section 5.1.1 for recommended grease. Use the Service Record checklist provided to keep a record of all scheduled servicing. Use a hand-held grease gun for all greasing.Wipe the grease fitting with a clean cloth before greasing, to avoid injecting dirt and grit. Replace and repair broken fittings immediately. If the fittings will not take grease, remove and clean thoroughly. Also clean the lubricant passageway. Replace the fitting if necessary. Lubricate the PTO shaft (2 locations- see FIG. 5-1). Lubricate the exposed rod end of the boom lift cylinder with “never seize” (1 location). Fig. 5-8 Boom Cylinder. Lubricate the splined input shaft and bearings (2 locations). Fig. 5-9 Splined Shaft.
