Work Order Procedure (NEW AGE ELECTRIC)

This procedure explains how to create a new work order step by step, including entering the job site address, scope of work, materials, crew size, estimated hours, dates and customer details. It also explains which fields to skip, how to mark change orders, and when to upload before and after photos of the job.

    Select 'New Work Order' on the blue tab in the upper right corner

    Enter the job site address

    If this is a change order, type 'CHANGE ORDER' after the address

    Upload before and after pictures of the job

    Add or drag pictures

    Enter the scope of work and list of materials needed for the job

    Enter the number of workers on the job

    Enter the estimated hours spent on the job

    Skip the 'Procedure' section unless there are special instructions

    Check that your name is in the 'Assign to' field

    Enter the expected completion date in the 'Due Date' field

    Enter the date you are creating the work order in the 'Start Date' field

    Skip the 'Recurrence', 'Priority', and 'Location' fields

    Enter the customer's name in the 'Customer' field

    Skip the 'Files' and 'Vendors' fields unless there are specific files or vendors for the job

    Save the work order

    Upload before and after pictures of the job

    Add or drag pictures
