Monthly Patch Nut Preventive Maintenance
This procedure outlines the monthly maintenance tasks for inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of the Nylon Patch Nut Line, including the feeder bowl, induction heater, air lines, powder return system, drive mechanism, safety guards, electrical panel, and conveyor system.
Feeder Bowl Inspection
Inspect the Feeder Bowl for Cracks
Inspect all Speed and controls units
Vibrators Check
Check that the Vibrators are working correctly
Air Lines and Regulators Inspection
Inspect the Air lines and regulators for any replacements needed
Drive Mechanism and Speed Controls
Inspect the condition of the Drive mechanism (belts and chain)
Inspect the modulation controls from the speed control units
Machine Safety Guards Check
Check the integrity of the machine safety guards
Inspect all joints (bolts and nuts)
Main Electrical Panel Inspection
Inspect the Main Electrical Panel
Check the Line for exposed/burnt wiring
Inspect the Condition of the Band wheels & Dry Conveyor System
Belts, wheels checks for wear & tear
Check tightness of bolts & nuts in sequence
Inspect the Induction Heater
Inspect for leaks
Check for loose/burnt ground Wires
Blow out Unit with compressed Air and clean out filters
Powder System
Inspect filter bag for material consistency
check air inlets and components
