Use this procedure to conduct visual and operational inspection of your machine to ensure proper working condition.
Visual Checks
Hydraulic Cylinders/Hoses
Check for cracks, leaks, deformity, etc.
Mast Assembly
Check for damage, deformity, corrosion, etc.
Lift Chains and Rollers
Check for damage, deformity, breakages, etc.
Forks
Check for damage, deformity, etc.
Tyers/Rollers (as applicable)
Check for excessive wear, damage, etc.
Examine battery
Check for leaks, covers, connections, cables, etc.
Rear View Mirrors
Check for damage, cleanliness, are in place, etc.
Fire Extinguisher
Check for damage, in service date, etc.
Operational Checks
Check Gauges
Check for functionality, damage, etc.
Battery Discharge Indicator
Check for functionality, damage, etc.
Test Standard Equipment
Check for controls functionality (lower/lift, tilt, side shift, etc.
Steering
Check for free movement, lock to lock, etc.
Brakes
Check for excessive travel, fully functionality, slipping, etc.
Horn
Check for fully functionality, loudness
Emergency Set Brake
Check functional, excessive travel, slipping, etc.
Safety Kickback Switch
