Boiler Relief Valve Checklist

Inspect discharge pipe for proper connection and water drainage.
Use bucket, if needed, to collect discharge water
Hold test lever on relief valve open for 5 seconds.
Check water for and signs of debris.
Ensure valve closes when handle is released.
Clean auto fill valve screen if there is one.
