Regular inspections and maintenance should be scheduled. Feeders should be emptied and broken down to remove the buildup of dust and feed grime inside and outside to prolong use and efficiency.

All hazardous energy has been isolated using LOTO procedures?
All potential stored or residual energy has been relieved, disconnected, restrained, lowered, and/or otherwise rendered safe?
General Inspection
Observe machine running, watch and listen for abnormal conditions
Test all e-stops and safety devices
Lock Out Tag Out
LOTO Performed
Clean Machine
Use compressed air to clean exterior of machine then wipe down with degreaser
Vacuum / Blowout inside control panels including VFD's and cooling fans
Wipe down sensor faces and reflectors with microfiber cloth
Check for and remove any string accumulation on bearings and rollers
De-energized Inspection
Check clutch/brake roller alignment
Check belts for wear, tracking and lace condition. Replace as needed
Check rodless air cylinder bearings and spreader clamp linear bearing assemblies
Check air pressure settings
Return Machine to normal operation
Remove LOTO, start machine and ensure proper operation
