WW PM Weekly Water Pump/Motor Gormann Rupp 10 Series 13A20-B

The weekly PM for all Gorman Rupp 10 Series 13A20-B pumps with motors in wastewater pre-treatment system. Maintenance inspections can identify minor issues before they turn into costly repairs. Inspections ensure machines are working correctly and helps prevent equipment downtime.

Food Safety Pre-Check

Prior to performing this maintenance task, the areas that may be impacted unintentionally by the maintenance activities were inspected to assure no Partner’s safety is at risk and no customer product or Cintas equipment would be compromised, contaminated, or otherwise damaged due to this specific task. Any product that may be impacted was moved and / or otherwise isolated to assure protection.

Pump Unit

Wipe down dirt from housing. Inspect for temperature, noises, vibrations, cracks, leaks. Tighten loose fasteners, anchors, hardware. Open a corrective work order if needed.
Inspect speed, flow, and reporting on the control panel. Open a corrective work order if needed.
Inspect and adjust bearing lubrication and seal lubrication. Open a corrective work order if needed.

Drive Motor

Wipe dirt from the housing. Inspect the motor for unusual running noises or vibrations. This could indicate damage. Inspect and tighten loose fasteners, anchors, and bolts. Open a corrective work order if needed.

Food Safety Post-Check

After performing this maintenance task, a review of all applicable areas that may have been impacted was conducted to assure there are no residual risks to Partner safety remaining. Also, a review of all applicable areas to ensure that no customer products were inadvertently compromised, contaminated, or otherwise damaged was conducted. If any conditions were observed indicating that any of the previous concerns have been negatively impacted, the issue was escalated to leadership.
