FireFly R300 Harvester Daily inspection

Autosteer

• Make sure the auto steer shoe moves up and down freely

• Make sure the bushing on aut steer shoe is spinning freely

• Make sure heli-coupler is not damaged

• Ensure aut steer spring has proper tension

Chop

• Check the motor belt for excessive wear and proper adjustment

• Inspect the motor servo cable for damage and make sure the connections are tight

• verify sensor timing

• inspect the chop cam mechanism and cam follower for excessive wear

• check the ground roller for excessive wear or cracks

• inspect the chop blade for bungee tightness and blade condition and check for loose bolts or any play in the blade

• check the chop carriage for worn, missing, or damaged parts such as carriage channels and rollers

• check the motor pulley and bushing for damaged or missing parts

• inspect the chop pawl for wear or damage that would reduce its ability to retain the cutoff cam

• verify that the chop motor and the cam spindle are parallel to each other

Cutter head

• Check for excessive wear or loose bolts for the following

• blade arms

• ground rollers

• crankshaft assembly

• crankshaft belt

• lower a-frame

• cutter head blade

• cutter head frame

• check motor for hydraulic leaks

lower conveyor

• check all belts that are riding properly on pulleys and look for missalignment or excessive wear

• check all pulley scrapers that they are free from debris and in proper engagement with the pulley

• check alignment from cutter head to conveyor

• verify that the chain and sprockets are tight and in good condition

upper conveyor

• verify that the belt is rolling well on the rollers and that it is aligned correctly and not rubbing on one side or the other

• check the belt for excessive wear

• inspect the chain and sprockets to make sure they are tight and in good working order

• check roller scrapers

passive roll up

• inspect gravity rollers clean if needed

• check roll flipper gates for debris and proper adjustment

• check flipper gate springs

• check passive rollup belt

active roll up

• verify that the active rollup carriage moves freely

• check belts plastic guides and pins and bushings

• check tension on green link belts

• inspect motor cables for pinched wires and tight connections

sensors

• check rollup prox sensor for correct triggering

• flap detection prox sensor check trigger point and clean if needed

accumulator

• check pulleys for excessive wear

• check condition of all homing sensors

• verify servo motor cables are not damaged and tight

• check belt and pulley tensions

• verify that prox sensor target brackets are all present

stacker head

• check for bent spikes or screws

• check play in screws for top chain tension

• check drive belt tensions

• visually inspect the carriage to ensure its sitting straight in the stacker channels and can move by hand

• look at stack head for missing components

pallet magazine

• check drive chains for proper tension

• look for excessive wear on chain sliders

• visually inspect for looks or missing items

• check hydraulic motor for leaks

• inspect/clean all sensors on injector

tires and wheels

• verify proper inflation

• check for missing or loose lug nuts

• check for wheel hub leaks

front axle and steering

• visually inspect all cylinder pins for wear or damage

• visually inspect tie rod for damage

• verify steering sensor linkage is free from debris
