Forklift Pre-Operational Inspections

This checklist provides pre-operational and operational checks you can do before and after starting the forklift; that will only take a few minutes to ensure your safety, the safety of the people around you and the safety of your forklift.

    Pre-operational checks should be done through physical and visual checks.

    The inspector/operator should first go around the forklift and perform a visual inspection, looking for any of the following:
