The LENNOX XC20 VARIABLE-CAPACITY AIR CONDITIONER Maintenance Form focuses both on the outdoor and indoor units. The form is divided into several parts allowing you to inspect it thoroughly by using the provided detailed checklist.

    Outdoor Unit

    Maintenance and service must be performed by a qualified installer or service agency. At the beginning of each cooling season, the system should be checked as follows:

    NOTE - If insufficient heating or cooling occurs, the unit should be gauged and refrigerant charge should be checked.

    Outdoor Coil

    It may be necessary to flush the outdoor coil more frequently if it is exposed to substances which are corrosive or which block airflow across the coil (e.g., pet urine, cottonwood seeds, fertilizers, fluids that may contain high levels of corrosive chemi

    Indoor Unit

    Locations with Possibility of Heavy Snow or Freezing Rain Accumulation

    Heavy snow and/or freezing rain can interfere with the performance of the outdoor fan assembly. Lennox recommends use of the optional snow guard (X8782) in these areas.
