Testing Stacker Functionality

Let's say the stacker is receiving washes that it shouldn't from the POS and you're not sure whether it's an issue with the CWA/Kiosk config or the stacker. You can use the following steps to test the Stacker and the root cause of the problem.

• 1) Grab the POS Emulator program Steve created.

• A) \\NETSERVER\IT-Department\Installers\Washify\Stacker POS Emulator

• 2) Drop it onto the MWS or another PC on site

• 3) Open a browser on that PC and go to http: //192.168.35.199:90

• 4) Log into the Stacker HMI using the default credentials in bitwarden

• 5) Run the POS Emulator program

• A) It should default to the IP of the Stacker, aka 192.168.35.80

6) Hit each wash type and verify that the stacker is receiving the correct wash

• A) If the correct wash comes on every time, then the issue is in the CWA

• ~ Check the wash service configuration for the location

• ~ Check to make sure the kiosks are updated with the most recent service configuration

• B) If a different wash is sent to the stacker, then the issue could be in the stacker

• ~ Verify wash order is correct

• a) Number 1 is a Basic and Number 4 is a Platinum

• C) If nothing shows up in the Stacker, then it could be a hardware issue

• ~ Check for error messages on the Stacker HMI screen (you probably would have seen them by now)

• ~ Check network and power connections to the HMI screen and the Stacker

• ~ Check to make sure Stacker and HMI are on the same network and can talk

• ~ Check to make sure Stacker and HMI are on the same switch

• a) This improves communication between the two devices
