• Test the control panels and DVR Units.

• Physically inspect all cameras for any damage, loose mounting hardware, frayed cabling, or loose connections.

• Check the viewing angle of all cameras to ensure adequate coverage and proper sightlines for recording.

• Inspect locks on doors and windows - even through this isn't part of the security system, it can still keep our organization safe.

• Inspect all electronic door locks and access controls for smooth and proper operation.

• If an occupancy sensor or door alarm is present ensure it is operational and functional.

• Inspect and test any motion sensor lights on the premises for proper operation. Ensure the lights are functional or replace any bulbs that are necessary. Ensure they are directed properly towards the coverage area.

• Inspect and test all smoke detectors. Ensure that all installed smoke detectors are in their proper location. Replace any missing items and any batteries necessary.

• Check all fire extinguishers to ensure they are present and in good working order.

• Inspect fire alarm control panel for ready condition. Ensure date and time are correct.
