Inspection of Swings & Mesh cups

• Check the swings (1) and mesh cups (2) and replace if necessary.

Removing and replacing the swings:

• Prepare the machine for maintenance. See Chapter 11.2 Preparation of the machine.

• Press the vertical chain track outwards slightly.

• . Detach the swings (1).

• Push the chain track slightly outwards and hook the new hanger into the hanger chain with the guide lug (3) on the operating side.

When removing swings, always ensure that some swings remain in their original position in the unit. Any swings which remain to be installed may then be positioned without any difficulty in the 2nd hole on the swings chain. Otherwise look for the stop bolt of the chain, the first swing must then be inserted into the first hole after the bolt. Then insert each of the other swings into the 2nd space. When hanging in the swings, ensure that the side of the swing with the guide nose (3) always faces toward
